This is a question that I’ve been mulling over in my mind for a while now.
Essentially, The Glasgow Treatment Rooms is three treatment rooms and a waiting area on the second floor of an old tenement style office block in Glasgow city centre.
It was so named because originally it formed part of The Consulting Rooms – a business providing space for talking therapists to work from.
When I took over part of that business to focus on providing space for Bodywork Therapists it seemed like a sensible name, continuing the original theme and being descriptive.
That was in 2011, over the years it has grown into so much more than that.
Very quickly, I was joined by our Osteopath Daniel Gerber.
Over the first couple of years Daniel and myself had several therapists join and leave us until Elizabeth Bandeen got up enough nerve to take the plunge and start working from The Glasgow Treatment Rooms.
Forgetting the bricks and mortar, what is The Glasgow Treatment Rooms?
The front page of our site says we are “a close-knit team of highly qualified and experienced therapists offering Professional Massage and Osteopathy”.
We work together to make sure each team members knowledge and skill set is the best it can be.
We thrive on sharing and discussing information and ideas.
We work to make sure our clients get the best possible treatment from the most appropriate therapist.
To tell you the truth though, we’ve grown into more of a family than just a team.
We look after each other. The good, the bad and the ugly.
The Glasgow Treatment Rooms is not a collection of rooms!
It is a family of like minded, fun and knowledgable therapists who are here to help you Feel Amazing.
